Introduction & Teaching Philosophy:
Zhang Nan (Selena) gained her master's degree in Australia and has spent some time living in the U.S. This allows her to understand the Western mindset and some of the problems international students often face when learning Chinese.

Despite much time overseas, she still has extensive knowledge of Chinese culture, history, art and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. This includes the "Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine" and "The Dao De Jing." With interests in dance and music and varied employment background she is able to make extremely interesting and informative lessons and has such become a favorite amoung students.
