Certification

Upon completion of one or more semester programs, Gold and Silver Package students will receive a certificate with their Chinese level conferred by CLE.  Chinese level will be determined by course work completed, the results of period placement tests, Language Teacher evaluation, and attendance.  Gold Package students will also have the ability to study for and take the HSK examination at no additional charge.  The HSK is China’s official Chinese Language Proficiency Examination.  HSK results are internationally recognized and proof of Chinese proficiency.

University transfer credit for CLE courses is at the sole discretion of each student’s College or University.  Should a student’s College or University accept transfer credit, CLE will make every reasonable accommodation to provide students with the necessary documentation to receive transfer credit for completed course work.  CLE also highly encourages all students to take the HSK examination at some point during their studies.
