Introduction & Teaching Philosophy:
Liu Xiaoyan has been teaching Mandarin since 2003 and in that time has taught over 200 international students.  This experience has allowed her to familiarize herself with international students needs and improve her teaching skills. As a teacher she believes that helping students understand the daily lives of Chinese people and China's cultural traditions is fundamentaly important and beneficial to any Mandarin language course.

She measures her own success in terms of every students progress and achievement. As a result she tries to provide every student with the best learning opportunity and environment possible.
