Li Laoshi's main teaching focus is Chinese pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary.  Her classes emphasize training each students listening and oral speaking skills. She incorporates a variety of teaching methods which allow her to cater to the needs of each individual class. She aims to introduce interesting elements of Beijing culture into her language training.
