2012 "5% OFF" Package Promotion:

All Programs (excluding Private and Online) will receive a 5% discount off total program fee and waived $125 application fee when enrollment applications are recieved prior to the enrollment deadline and with on-time payment of tuition fees.


2011-2012 Term Chinese Immersion Program Dates & Deadlines:

  • Spring Semester 2011:
    February 21, 2011 - July 8, 2011 - enrollment deadline January 21, 2011
  • Summer Term 2011:
    July 11, 2011 - September 2, 2011 - enrollment deadline June 13, 2011
  • Fall Semester 2011:
    September 5, 2011 - January 20, 2012 - enrollment deadline August 8, 2011
  • Spring Semester 1 2012:
    February 6, 2012 - June 22, 2012 - enrollment deadline January 6, 2012
  • Spring Semester 2 2012:
    April 9, 2012 - August 24, 2012 - enrollment deadline March 9, 2012
  • Summer Term 2012:
    July 2, 2012 - August 24, 2012 - enrollment deadline June 1, 2012
  • Fall Semester 2012:
    September 3, 2012 - January 18, 2013 - enrollment deadline August 3, 2012

2012 Additional Course Dates & Deadlines:

Flexible Program small group classes for all proficiency levels start the 1st Monday of each month.

2012 group class start dates are scheduled for: January 9, February 6, March 5, April 9, May 7, June 4, July 2, August 8, September 3, October 8, November 5, and December 3.

Private & Online Classes can start at any time.

Notes:

1. One Academic Year includes 2 semesters (Spring & Fall or Fall & Spring). Semesters are typically 20 weeks in length. There is approximately a one month break between semesters for Academic Year students. Please review term dates for exact start dates.

CLE will be closed for the following Chinese Holidays:

  • January 2, 2012, New Year's Day, No Lessons
  • January 22 - 28, 2012, Spring Festival/Chinese New Year
  • April 2 - 4, 2012 - Qing Ming Festival, No Lessons
  • April 29 - May 1, 2012, Chinese Labor Day, No Lessons
  • June 23 - 25, 2012, Dragon Boat Festival, No Lessons
  • September 30, 2012, Mid-Autumn Festival, No Lessons
  • October 1-7, 2012 National Day, No Lessons

    *Holidays are typically 1 day, with 3 days in a row off and make up classes during the weekend preceeding or following the holiday. Exact holiday dates and break schedules will be determined by the Chinese Government. Official announcement for 2012 holidays will arive year-end 2011.
